Time fly's by so quickly...our children gets older by the minutes, hours, months and years...Another year went by and not a lot of people accomplished what they would have liked to at the end of the year. Some may have and some probably doesn't even know what they accomplished. Oh well...the best thing to remember out of another year is that if you and your family, friends and love one are still together, that's the only thing that matters.

So as everyone or mostly everyone is aware, the Colorado Annual Hmong New Year which is held every year at the Adams county fairground is scheduled as always during thanksgiving week...
The HMC will have church services as normal, no changes will be made. Those who are assigned as indicated on the Sunday Schedule remains valid, again no changes. Wishing everyone a happy thanksgiving to those who are staying in town or going out of town, drive safe, fly safe and eat safe.God bless... Christmas is right around the corner! The celebration was a sucess, thanks to our guess, friends, family and church members! Thank you for the Youth who provided a varieties of deserts! It was very yummy and good.
Thank all the women ministry and men ministry who contributed to the feast preperations and cook out. A New Year celebration is not a celebration w/o the Food! But of course, we hope that everyone who came learned something beside eating (^_^) .... Dont forget to attend! As indicated in our Event postings in regards to the Butter Braids fund raiser, the event has been passed on to the men ministry to support them with their ministry missions. The women has accomplished one goal and instead of accomplishing another goal for ourselves, our men ministry needs a helping hand from our whole congregation. We'll all help each other out, same goes for the Youths as well.
It was a long night and a long day for most of us HMC women ministries...
Some of our HMC Women ministry wasn't able to participate due to their booked schedules; however, for those who contributed and supported their time to make this event a success, on behalf of HMC, I thank each of you. Every year is... The events that occurred or is schedule for August are/were: 1. the Mennonite Annual Assembly held the 1st week of August 2. Ge Thao's daughter's wedding ceremony 3. prayer request 4. KIDS back to school and end of Summer.... Autumn and Winter is right around the corner! |
